South Harbour Beach

From reviews: “…Beautiful warm and clear blue waters, soft sand, amazing view of the bay and the highlands in the backdrop and it is so long so you can take a nice walk!”

“Amazing free beach to go swimming in the ocean. about 15 parking spots in the high grass, no camping on site, follow the dirt road to the end! This is a beach on public land, no toilets, no garbage, bring your trash back with you!!!”

“Beach is 5 stars, very small parking lot, so I think that’s how the number of beachgoers stays in check. We went at 7pm when things were winding down. Water was warm, nice sand, no jellyfish, minimal kelp, at high tide the water was still shallow, I didn’t find the waves to be challenging but they weren’t white caps and I didn’t venture out over my head. An unexpected and very nice Cape Breton beach!”
