Flora’s is well known for its local craft- Cheticamp Hooked Rugs….continuous demonstration of our craft is being done in our shop. Our large shop has an excellent variety of gifts, souvenirs, and both stylish and souvenired clothing.

On the same premises, we have an Ice Cream Parlor – serving local ice cream, oatcakes, cinammon buns and cookies…YUM!!! also coffee/tea, pop and bottled water….

We have large parking lot …. cars, RV’s or motorcoach accessible….also rest rooms in the shop…

Our seasonal family business started in May of 1998. We look forward to your visit in Chéticamp on the world famous Cabot Trail. Choose from a variety of seafood: lobster – live and cooked, fish and chips (cod or haddock) cooked on a grill or deep-fried, scallops, shrimps, clams, mussels, sole & seafood chowder.

There is ample parking and seating for campers and motor coach tours. We can provide a customized menu for motor coach tours and can arrange upon request live entertainment reflecting local colors, in the form of dance troop, choir (in French or English), violin & step dancing or sing-along. Our licensed restaurant can accommodate 52 people and includes a Souvenir Area.

Your hosts, Daniel Cormier and his staff, have accommodations on site and will be available to serve you. Our entire staff will be pleased to offer you a friendly bilingual service.

We offer a mix of wooded and open serviced sites for Motorhomes, Trailers and Tents (144 sites) to complement a long stretch of open ocean beach frontage.

All expected amenities are available: Canteen with ice and other supplies, payphones, recreation and games room, movies, playground, tennis court, mini-golf, pure well-water, a laundromat, laundry tubs, washrooms, showers, changing rooms, picnic tables and fire pits.

St-Pierre Camping is located 3.5 KM off the Cabot Trail just to the south of the Acadian village of Cheticamp. Open from mid May to mid September, the campground is a member of the Campground Owner Association of Nova Scotia as well as Check Ins. This spectacular beach and campground offers a vacation for the whole family to enjoy while visiting and touring the Cabot Trail.

Cheticamp Co-op is a very successful consumer cooperative in the village of Cheticamp, Cape Breton, NS

Cheticamp Co-op offers a wide range of food, general merchandise and building supplies. It serves over 2,300 member- owners in the region and is governed by a nine-member Board of Directors.

The grocery department carries over 6,000 products to meet the members’ needs.

The meat department’s 4-member team is always ready to answer any of your questions regarding the array of meat and fish products it offers. Whatever the occasion, they have what you need.

The 2 employees in the deli department take pride in their deli trays and in-store sandwiches, subs and pizzas. They also prepare a wide array of packaged deli meats.

The bakery does not go unnoticed in the store. The aroma clearly directs consumers to this in-store bakery. Fresh breads and specially ordered cakes are their specialty.

Our employees can help you find the produce you need for your family needs. At your request, they can also prepare fruit and vegetable trays for that special occasion. They provide both local and imported products.
