North Shore

This area known as 'North Shore', dotted with small communities staring out to sea, stretches out along the world famous Cabot Trail on the northeaster coastline of Cape Breton Island. One of the communities is also named North Shore, along with Indian Brook, Breton Cove, Little River, Birch Plain, Wreck Cove, and the Gaelic-named Skir Dhu, meaning 'black rock'.
