Newfoundland Ferry. We have the perfect location for travellers planning day trips
throughout the island. Come enjoy our island's unique culture, celtic music,
magnificient scenery and warm hospitality!

  • 40 minutes from Alexander Graham Bell Museum, Baddeck
  • 35 minutes from Mineršs Museum and Marconi Historical Site, Glace Bay
  • 20 minutes from Bird and Whale Tours

Dove House is within walking distance to downtown, restaurants, shops, banks, Laundromat, playgrounds and a short drive to the local golf course and beaches.

 DOVE HOUSE OFFERS YOU:
  • Two rooms each with ensuite 4-pc baths, one has a queen canopy bed with a double Jacuzzi and the other has a queen brass bed with a soaker tub.
  • Two rooms on the ground floor each have a double bed and share a 4-pc bath that can accommodate those guests for whom stairs are a problem. Also, great for families or two couples traveling together.
  • A breakfast buffet to get your day off to a great start or finish your day recounting your island adventures with fellow travelers on the veranda enjoying a cool drink.
  • A separate guest kitchen with refreshments.
  • Early departures and late night arrivals are welcome.
  • A smoke-free environment.

DIRECTIONS TO DOVE HOUSE:
  • Travelling east from Baddeck on Hwy 105. Drive to Exit 21, turn right into North Sydney onto Rte. 305 South and keep right to the traffic lights. Turn left onto Blowers Street and drive to Commercial Street. Turn right on Commercial Street and drive 10 blocks to 108 Queen Street.
  • Travelling on Hwy 125, East or West. Drive to Exit 2, turn into North Sydney onto King Street. Drive to Commercial Street, turn right onto Commercial Street and drive 6 blocks to 108 Queen Street.
  • Travelling on Hwy 125, East or West. Drive to Exit 3, turn into Leitches Creek. Drive along Rte. 305 North into North Sydney along the water 6 km to 108 Queen Street.
